About us.

We are the Zee’s aka Raymond, Brenda, and Ray Ray(Raymond IV). We are born and raised in Georgia. Raymond and I met when we were only 17. We have been inseparable ever since. We started dating a year after we met and got engaged in 2019 with plans to have our winter wedding in 2020. After a few short months of planning, we had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic. We had an intimate ceremony and plan to renew our vows someday in the future. In 2021, we became a family of 3. Our mindset changed a bit after Raymond and I became parents.

Our Inspiration

Throughout our dating stage, Raymond and I only traveled annually to the closest beach, if that. Our PTO expired several times because we wouldn’t take any time off. When Ray Ray was a few months old. We took our first road trip to a new destination. We drove to Orlando, Florida where we stayed in a hotel down the street from Disney World.

We loved that we were able to show our baby boy this magical place. When we returned home, Raymond started looking into other ways we could travel. We came across RV traveling. We learned it could be challenging for some people, but we felt like we were up for that challenge.

There were three things that convinced us to get it. 1. It is cheaper than paying for hotels but we HAVE to use it throughout the year, which brings us to reason number two. 2. This would almost force us to use up our vacation time. Our problem has always been that we don’t like to travel outside our “bubble”. We get too comfortable and only visit where we know what to expect. 3. It is more sanitary because we get to clean our rooms and use our own items. No more wondering if the sheets were cleaned after other guests or finding other people’s hair in the drains.

Why a Camper?

We traveled to Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida just within the first year of owning the camper. Ray Ray had already traveled to more states than his dad at this point already. We quickly realized that we had no idea what we were missing out on this whole time.

What we took away from our first year of traveling was that you don’t realize how fast time passes until it’s gone. We are so glad we didn’t waste more time waiting until “it gets easier”. Even if you are going somewhere a few hours away from home, there is so much to see, learn, and try. The world is too beautiful to not explore it with your family, no matter how young they are.
